GUCCI RE-SEE AND SHOWROOM VISIT

Günlerden 17 Eylül 2014 ve ben ilk Gucci defileme davetliyim. Uçağın içinde sürekli saatimi kontrol ediyorum ve dakikalar geçtikçe umudum azalıyor. Defileye yetişmemin imkanı yok!

Neyse diyorum, en azından showroom’da bütün koleksiyonu yakından inceleme fırsatım olacak. Bu da büyük bir şans!

Cuma günü, yani 19 Eylül’de yağmurlu bir Milano gününde, Missoni defilesi çıkışında bir caféde oturup bir kahve içiyorum ve ardından zar zor bulduğum boş taksiye kendimi atarak Gucci showroom’unun adresini şoföre teslim ediyorum. GG harflerinin nakşedildiği halının üzerinde etrafı meraklı gözlerle incelerken Alberto asansörden iniyor, misafirlerini yolculuyor ve baştan aşağıya jilet gibi görünen Gucci kıyafetleriyle bana doğru ilerliyor. Özellikle deri ceketi ve horsebit loafer’ları harika!

Müthiş güleryüzlü bir karşılamanın ardından asansöre binerek showroom’a çıkıyoruz ve işte buradayız! Frida Gianni’nin kalbinin, beyninin merkezinde Milano’daki Gucci showroom’unda, ilkbahar – yaz 2015 koleksiyonu bize tüm detaylarıyla göz kırpıyor!

Turumuz defilenin de açılışını yapan look ile başlıyor.  

Koleksiyon iddalı Gucci kadını çizgisinde bizi 70’lere,götürüyor. Koleksiyonda hayal edebileceğiniz neredeyse tüm kumaş türleri mevcut, deriler, jean kumaşlar, süetler, ipekler… Gördüğünüz en spor parçada bile el işçiliği ile güçlendirilmiş detaylar hakim. Herşey baştan sona, ilk aşamadan bu yana İtalya’da üretilmiş. 

Gucci kadını gündüz spor, şık, çarpıcı, jean elbisesini süet botlarıyla tamamlarken, gece ise Uzakdoğu’ya selam veriyor ve ipek işlemeli elbiseleriyle gecenin karanlığında dans ediyor. 

Gucci dünyası yine şaşırtıcı ve kuvvetli. 
Tam da bir GG kadınının olması gerektiği gibi!

It was September 17th, 2014. I was invited to my very first Gucci runway show and was still sitting inside of my plane, checking my watch to see if there was any chance that I could make it to the venue on time. Sadly, due to the heavy delay, I could not make it!

I was trying to keep my moods up since my re-see appointment was confirmed and I would have a chance to feel, to see, to experiment the collection very closely- which, of course, was a great chance that was given on a silver plate for me.

On a rainy Friday, to be precise it was September 19th, after the Missoni runway, I stopped by a near café and drank a cup of cappuccino and examined my emails. Then I jumped into the cab after waiting for ‘a couple’ of minutes, gave the address of the secret temple a.k.a Gucci showroom to the driver and watched the streets as we passed by.

After around like 20 minutes, there I was sitting at the waiting room, looking at the GG carved carpet under my feet. At that moment, Alberto got out of the elevator, waved goodbye to his guests and started walking towards me with a very warmly welcoming smile and a very cool Gucci ensemble. His leather jacket and horsebit loafers were definitely major!

And, we went up to the showroom, where all the glamorous pieces of the collection were sparkling and waiting to be discovered. It was definitely the heart, the mind of Frida Giannini and the Gucci team- we were at the Gucci showroom!

The first look that welcomed us was also the opening look of the runway show. 

The whole collection is dramatic as always, but is down to earth and highly wearable at the same time. Gucci takes us to 70’s with a collection that is made of anything that you can imagine; leathers, canvas, silk, suede and everything. Even on the most sporty piece you can see the hand-made luxurious details, which emphasize the high standards of craftsmanship of the label. Everything is totally Italian made.

Gucci woman is sporty and glam at day time while she turns into a far east princess during night time.
